Happy Thanksgiving From My Dollhouse To Yours

Nana & Grampa didn't care that
they had not yet finished off the rooms
in their new farmhouse,they wanted
to gather friends and family
for Thanksgiving anyway.
They relaxed in the living room
visiting with each other and grampa
enjoyed feeding his grandson.
The two younger girls played with
their dolls.
Their two daughters and their husbands &
children all made it . They also extended
an invitation to a few of their neighbors
who would otherwise have been alone.
Nana happily played her piano for
the ladies as her grand children
played with their toys.
The dining room table is just full
of all the yummy desserts that
everyone brought.
Dinner was delicious & there
is still turkey left for sandwhiches
later on.
It's been a wonderful
Thanksgiving day.

Nana & Grampa just settled down to relax
after a very tiring day. They just moved into
their new farmhouse that's not quite
finished yet but they were anxious &
didn't want to wait.
*************
Nana was just dozing off when the
doorbell rang and the dogs started
barking .......
Nana & Grampa both jumped up because
they weren't expecting anyone.
They opened the door and were shocked
at what they saw.
Someone had left two babies in a basket
right outside their door.
It appears that they are twins and
one is a girl and one a boy.

Nana is so upset that anyone would do this ,

she starts to feel faint &

she is crying.

The two dogs & the cat are all very

curious. None of them are sure what

is going on.

They bring the babies inside and now the two

are crying so Grampa rocks the basket.

It seems to be helping ,
so Nana is happy.
Nana & Grampa know what has to be
done next. They need to call someone
to report this and find a safe place
for the babies to go.
Now that they've made the phone call & wait
for help to arrive Nana decides to play
the piano and sing a lullaby so that
the babies will sleep.
Nana & Grampa know where
they will be brought.....
This sweet little set of twins
will now be up for adoption
on ......
ETSY
So many ladies go to ETSY
that Nana & Grampa know
the twins will end up in a good
home.

Sick In Bed

It's no fun to be sick in bed.
She's 7 years old and loves her
dolls and elephant collection
but she's just feeling too
poorly to play with them.
Maybe Mom will come upstairs &
rock with me for awhile
in the rocking chair.
Maybe she'll read to me or
sing to me softly.
Maybe she'll just scoot into
my bed next to me til I
fall asleep. That would make
me feel better.

Mom's exhausted after running

up & down the stairs all day

to take care of her daughter.

She's going to unwind with a

glass of wine , a few

chocolates & then check out

her new magazine . Afterwards

she'll go upstairs & sing her

sweetie to sleep.

Come Into My Kitchen

Come in and sit down for awhile.

Would you like a cup of coffee? I just took some
cookies out of the oven if you'd like to try them.

I also have some orange jello & some Ritz

crackers to munch on.

I was in the middle of making a salad for our

dinner tonight.

There's also milk & cookies on the table if you'd

prefer . The kids just finished eating ice cream

sundaes.

It's been so nice having company in my new kitchen.

We've been renovating for awhile now &

still have finishing touches to add here and

there. We need to put up some moulding &

finish decorating. Do you like my new

copper pans ? I love them , and I also got

the matching hanging kitchen tools which

come in handy right by the stove.

I'm going to wrap you a plate of cookies

to take home with you.

Stop by again , I love your company.
