My Wonderful Vacation !

I'm back & I had the best vacation in Ogunquit , Maine!
We stayed at the "Above The Tide Inn " which is a family
owned and run Inn . It was friendly, relaxing , perfect , &
now our new favorite place to stay .

My husband got up very early in the morning to get a shot of this beautiful sunrise .

These flowers were on our deck which overlooked the river
where the tide comes in from the ocean .

We could watch the people on the beach from our deck .The ocean goes right around this small pennisula of beach.

This was our bright and cheery room ! We could lay on the bed if we wanted and watch the people on the beach ! We woke up each morning to the sounds of seagulls screaching . We had our coffee & breakfast out on the deck .

Click on the picture above & you'll be in my room !

We had our own reserved table right outside of our room.
Each morning we were served fresh hot coffee , orange juice , &
homemade muffins or banana bread .
This is what the outside of our Inn looked like.
A sailboat going by while we were having dinner at Perkins Cove.
Trolleys will bring you everywhere in Ogunquit & Perkins Cove.
This is what the sunset looked like at the end of our fun filled days.

My "Fairy Garden"

Click on the picture and see a close up shot of the fairy
garden & all it's vintage bling . When you do this it feels like
you are really taking a stroll through a tiny garden .
This is my "Fairy Garden" . I was inspired while visiting http://www.kellishouse.blogspot.com/
I used the whiskey barrel that I already had planted flowers in . It was alot of fun to make and I threw in a little vintage bling because everyone knows that fairies like shiny things , all girls do !

Such A Busy Sky These Days !

This is what our sky has looked like for most of the summer I think . Such big fluffy clouds ..... they almost don't look real . The dark storm clouds look heavy & full . They look like they are just hanging in the sky and ready to touch the earth . The thunder we've been having daily is such a long , rumbling , rolling kind of sound . It's just a whole other world going on up there.

"Froggie" & His New Friend

Well , I mentioned before that you just never know where
"Froggie" will be or what he'll be doing . My husband & I
were out running around for most of the day , picked up
a couple of iced coffees on the way home , and then our plan
was to sit and relax and drink them by the pond . When we
sat down this is what we saw . "Froggie" was sitting as close as
he possibly could to a rubber turtle we have had by the pond
for months . It really was so funny , it looked like he was cuddling
with the turtle and in the pictures we took it looks they are having
some kind of conversation and watching my two koi together . As we
sat there enjoying our coffee and talking , the frog never moved.
My husband even pet him and he kind of puffed up his body a
little but that's it . He continued to sit there next to his new friend .
