Two More Adopted !

I'm in love again with two more
orphans who just cried out to come
home with me.
These two girls were going to be
" thrown out " !!!
I said " Ohhhhh no no no ,
please don't ever do that ! ".
Then my friend offered
them to me and I was so excited
to know that they would have a
home with me and that they
would not be spending the
holidays somewhere
in a cold dumpster.
They will live happily with the
rest of my girls and I just
happen to have some very nice
old dresses for them.

A Saturday Find

I love this doll !
My husband bought it for me
while we were out
" treasure hunting "
yesterday. He told the man
who had it that I love taking
home dolls that no one else
wants so the man sold it to
my hubby for $ 2.00.
She's a very long doll.....over 2 ft.
Her body is entirely made of cloth
but she has composition head & hands.
She's wearing her original cloth
dress and shoes. I'm sure all of
my other orphan dolls will make her
feel right at home !

Yummy Cookies For Cheap And Quick Too !

For those who love yummy ,

hot and delicious cookies from

the oven quick ..... try these !

Take any box of cake mix,

any flavor, add 2 eggs &

1/4 cup of oil.

It will be a stiff cookie batter.

Then add chocolate chips

or nuts or what ever you'd like.

Leave them plain if you want.

bake them at 350 til they look

done.

I made devil's food & spice
cookies and put chocolate
chips in both !
I'm thinking that this full cookie
jar along with the other
6 or 8 that my husband and I ate cost $3.00 !

Wheel Barrel Rides

I'm so glad we had a chance
to give my grandson his first
ever wheel barrel ride before
the weather turned
cold, rainy,windy and slushy
like it is today .
We really savour these small
moments , time passes so quickly !
