What you see in these pictures is just part
of my growing collection of music boxes.
I have a good size wall unit in the same
room as my four dollhouses and it holds
the bulk of my collection.
Every time I enter this room the dogs followme and jump on the couch and then I always
grab a music box and wind it up.
Most of the songs are happy little songs so
listening to them makes me feel good.
Pairing this collection in the same room as my
dollhouses and miniatures just makes the room
So now my hunt for music boxes is starting to
narrow to only ones that I think are adorable
or songs that I don't have yet.
I have a few others that are quite old and
some expensive so I keep them downstairs
with me and give them a wind every so often
so I can enjoy the happy little tune.

Love your background!
A very nice collection. I would love to have a room just for my miniatures, jewelry making, etc.
Have a great day. Did you get snow?

Hi! Thanks for your post. I am so happy that somone read my post. Your page is inspiring. I love your music boxes expecially the fisher price toy one - I love old toys that remind me of being a kid.
Hi Sue
Thanks for visiting me ,
I have one music box i found in a thrift shop - the kind with a ballerina inside - takes me back to when i was little and had one nearly like it.
You got some beautiful ones there - and do i see a bird cage one as well ? love that one !
Enjoyed looking at your music boxes, I have about 50 or so myself, I only purchased one-- all the rest were gifts for special occasions, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. I don't have a place big enough to put them all out at once, so I have them in different rooms of my home, I like to wind them up when I am dusting, and listen to the music.
