We've had our first two snow storms
here in Massachusetts . Luckily there
are many little homes and havens in my
yard for the little birds to get out of
the wind and weather .
********************
Today they are all snow capped .

This house is usually occupied by a
little red squirrel living in my yard . He
makes a cozy nest by filling the house
with oak leaves .
This is my feeder where my birds and
squirrels find anything from bread with
peanut butter to muffins & pastries.
gourd house right now. ??
This is my waterfront property near my pond.
The wrens usually claim this early in the spring.
The wrens usually live here too .
This house is just to get out of the rain and
snow for awhile.
I call this one my condo . A wren built a
nest in one of the units , the other two
units are still vacant.
Sparrows usually call this one "Home Sweet Home".
Sparrows have occupied this one too . Are you in there???

Hi sweetie!
Thank you so much for your sweet comments...and linking me. I will also list your blog on my "yaya sistas"!
LOVE these pics...even though I am in the deeeep South and love to look at the snow, but sooooo glad it is not something we see very often here.

WOW! Looooove them! I have a thing for birdhouses and feeders! Beautiful snow!
Monica.
Lucky birds to have so many nice feeders to pop into and keep dry! And how adorable that you have a squirrel filling up one with oak leaves :-) I enjoyed my visit here today ~ I found you through Monica @ the white bench.
I saw them talking about your snow in Mass. this am. Pretty to look at, but I don't want any here. When I got up, it was 15 with a wind chill of 3 here - to cold for me! Merry Christmas to you and your family . Enjoy your holidays.

Just love the pics of the snow on the bird houses - it freezes my little ole Southern heart. Very pretty. Cathie
These pictures are beautiful. I love all the little bird houses with snow on top. I can just see little bird families in them come spring.
Hugs,
Joanne
Look at your little bird haven. I know the birds surely appreciate it! With the weather we've had lately they can use all the help they can get!
