Playing With My Fairy House

It's been awhile since I've had
a few minutes to work on
my Fairy House .
I finally got a chance to
put up some new wallpaper
in their kitchen.

This was a VERY rough house

when I got it.

I found it on the side of the

road for free and it was

very dirty and very

heavy because the person

who made this house also

shingled it with real

house shingles !

The first thing I did when

I hauled it home was to

take off those shingles

before my hubby got it into

the house for me.

It was a little larger scale than my other
dollhouses so that's why I decided
to make it the FairyHouse.
I love the whimsical touches you
can add to the house because
Fairies love all of nature & little
creatures and shiny things that they
can repurpose into what they
might need.
This little fairy,one of
the younger ones, is drinking
an orange drink while she plays
with her pet snail.
She has all kinds of treasures &
little friends in her room.
The critters all are welcome
to make themselves at home.
Downstairs another young fairy
relaxes with her friends
in the den which very badly
needs some renovations!
They make the best of what
they have for the time being.
They all enjoy a
wonderful time together.
Above is one of the older fairies taking
care of a baby fairy who has
not yet gotten her wings.
The baby loves to be
rocked in a basket.
This room too will be redone.
One thing that everyone
does have in this house
is a smile on their face.
It's a very happy home!

Dollies Dollies Everywhere !

I've shown some of my dolls
before but have added to them
since. All of these dollies live at
the top of the stairs in my
upstairs hallway which is
like a little square room
itself. I just love looking at
all of their little faces each
time I go up there. There's
also always room for one
more little doll.
Maybe I'll find one
tomorrow while I'm
out treasure hunting !

Brimfield July Show 2010

Well , as of today the July
Brimfield show is all done.
We'll see most of these
vendors back here in
September.
This past week was just
a scorcher in Brimfield ,
in the high 90s all week.
I wonder how many of
these train cases were sold.
This picture was taken
on Tuesday which was
openning day.
Of course there is always
an eclectic selection
of fine art !
There's alot of neat things
here in this tent.
Some of you might know
this vendor.
I know her now because I finally
searched her out this time in Brimfield.
Ever since I found out on her
blog that she does Brimfield shows
her blog has been on my favorites list.
I've tried to stop and say HI
to her in the past but she must have
been out roaming the fields.
I was very happy to finally meet
Tricia of
What a very nice person she is.
Her tent was filled with great
treasures. We gabbed for a few
minutes about our blogs & our shops
but finally I had to let her go
because her tent was so busy.
I hope you sold lots Tricia !
See you next show.
I just loved this doll,
she was a beauty ! I hope a few of these were sold too this past week. I wouldn't want to be the one that has to pick them all up ! Good-bye Brimfield Antiques show, See ya in September.

My Anniversary Gift

My Hubby got me this
gorgeous hanging
plant for our
anniversary.

It looks so beautiful hanging

up on my front balcony.

This plant is huge & so

colorful and I think it's been

drinking a gallon of

water a day.

I have to say that it is the most

beautiful hanging plant I've

ever gotten.

Women Love Pearls

" String Of Pearls"
That's what this awesome
plant is called.
I recieved this one from
my dogs on Mother's Day.
It's taken me awhile to
blog about it.

This plant is just so different &

delicate looking. The "pearls"

look like little green peas.

This plant also flowers but the

blooms had just gone

by when I got it.

It loves living on my front
balcony door where the sun
comes up each morning.

My First Batch Of Homemade Soap & 2 New Art Cards

I finally made my first batch of
homemade soap. Rosemary Mint,
my favorite. I used a nice creamy
shea butter base, crushed rosemary
powder for color, rosemary &
mint essential oils, and chopped
rosemary leaves from my garden.
I'm very happy with the way
it came out . Next time I will
make a bigger batch though &
also cut the bars bigger.

I've sold a couple of my art

cards since I've opened my

own shop. I've even gotten

custom orders for some.

I finally found some spare

time to make some new

ones. I still need to do a few

birthday cards.

" Hi , My Name Is BabyFroggie "

Hi.... My name is "BabyFroggie"....yup....

just one word. That's what the garden lady

calls me. I've been watching you since I've

moved in and noticed that you are awfully

quiet. Maybe you just have nobody to talk to.

I would love to hang out with you. I

don't really have anyone to talk to except

for the lady. If you haven't noticed, those

two huge fish just stick together like glue

all the time and do there own thing.

I've seen them look my way quite a few

times but then they just keep swimming.

So ..... I've been doing all the talking so far ,

maybe you could tell me some-

thing about yourself. If this sounds too

pushy I understand. Maybe the reason

that you are so quiet is that you are

just shy. Anyways ........ I'll be around.

I just live down below you a bit in a little

cozy cave by the water. I'll stop by

again some time.

Take care.
