Quick Party Mix

I love sweet & salty party mix. I made
some last year during the holidays
for my friends but this year's
combination is different . It's a great
easy thing to throw together when
you are invited somewhere where
there will be a crowd. This huge bucket
of yummy mix I made for only $13.00.
I got all of my ingredients at CVS and
most was buy 1 get 1 and then there
were coupons.
1 - Box store brand wheat thins.
2 - Bags store brand peanutbutter
filled pretzel pillows.
1 - Large bag M & Ms.
1 - Bag of Goldfish crackers.
1- Bag of Cheese Combos.
1 - Bag Pizza Cheese Combos.
1 - Bag Knotted pretzels.
2 - Small bags of chocolate
covered peanuts.
I mixed it all together & hid it
until we go to our party
tomorrow otherwise Hubby
will be eating it.

Beautiful Spray

I decorated with some greenery and
red berries in front of my house &
then a friend of mine stopped by
with this beautiful spray for me that
she had made. I can always find room
for one more! It looks so pretty on my
arbor as you are coming up the walk.

Some New Friends

On the Saturday before Christmas
my true love gave to me ....
3 Fire Belly Frogs !
Awe...so sweet , for frogs anyway.
I've never really been a frog fan, actually most of my life I would put distance between them and myself. That was until I fell in love with "Froggie", my outdoor frog who's been living in my garden pond for a few years now. I kind of miss him, he's been in hibrenation for a couple of months now. By the end of last summer I was hand feeding my friend Froggie who has total trust in me. So anyways, I made this neat terrarium with stones and dirt and moss and driftwood. I even included a good size pond that they swim across. They are just too cute(for frogs) and lots of fun to watch. And at 48 yrs. old I touched one! It was a first for me..... lol. Now the next thing to overcome is this whole idea of crickets... that's what I feed my dear little friends "Mojo" .... "Lucy"....and "Babycakes".

I Took My Cabinet Doors Off !

I like the look.

I've been making some small changes in

my kitchen these days. I've started

stripping wallpaper and then started to

paint the walls white. I think I'm going

add white to the insides of the cabinets too.

I think it gives my very old house
a very casual and cottage-y look.

A Visit To The Christmas shop !

If you are ever passing through the small
quaint town of Monson,Mass. between
Thanksgiving & Christmas
you should make it a point to stop in here.
This little Christmas specialty shoppe
is open only for a limited time each year.
When you walk in you hear the sounds of Christmas bells playing carol after carol. The music is
enchanting. There are Christmas decorations and
ornaments packed in every inch of this shoppe
from floor to ceiling.
My hubby took our reflection picture in
this one of many large ornaments hanging
from the ceiling.
This was the cutest display of ornaments that
look like baked goods , right down to the
cake decorator's bags of frosting.
Adroable cupcakes!
Many of these ornaments are made
right here in the shoppe.
So much to look at!
Old St. Nick
Merry Christmas !
